Spring sprung early here. On April 1, we were planting wheat. That is the earliest that I can remember that we have been planting.

The week of April 23rd we started corn. Again, this is the earliest in resent memory for corn planting. Historically we are working on wheat at this time.

Here's our newly expanded field cultivator with the Ford 9700. Also being towed behind is a 5 bar harrow.

Corn planting with the Ford TW 10 and 6 row Kinze planter on Hiniker toolbar. My brother added a couple of extra weights to the front since we were running without the duals on.

After a two year break, cattle are back on our farm. These are heifers being fed out.

This sure has been a crazy year. We all ready have our first cutting of alfalfa swathed and baled. I spent some time in the blue tractor again on Saturday.
