Since the Summer Show is here. And Bill is there to answer questions. Did anyone grill him about the horrible IH combine. And about them making it right?
I'm about to cancel my pre order on the toy. Thought I would like to hear an update before I do.

Here ya go.. This was posted via TTT on Facebook this AM Well looks like this is what we are getting. Very sad, I see Ertl is really losing their way. I have yet to see a bin like that on a 1460, and I viewed all the 1460 pics they had on my books, and tractorhouse. And they are using 20+ year old headers as well. I'm still not sure if I still want this combine. If I do end up getting it. I will shave off the bin to make it more accurate. Good thing I have a red CIH 6 row header. |

I'm still not sure if I still want this combine. If I do end up getting it. I will shave off the bin to make it more accurate. Good thing I have a red CIH 6 row header. Jason posted not too long ago that this is still a rough draft and Ertl still has a few changes to make. While I don't like it regardless, I say hold off and see what else they change IMO.. |

I know the 1460 is a Combine, I have Farmall 350 hooked up to a corn picker to harvest right now since the JD 95 broke its rear axle. I was hoping to buy the 1460 to replace the 350 when harvesting.

Gonna buy a 815 instead, half the price and same quality. Oh ok, I got you. I have the IH 460 with mounted picker. Unless I hook up my New Idea 2 row pull picker, from scratch cast. I'm blessed as I have several combines of different brands to choose from. Of various models and sizes. I'm currently 50/50 on this one. Its not like a limited edition. I say wait a few more weeks and we will see what it will look like come shipping. And you will still have a chance for it. I say if you can, get the 815 as well. I have that combine and really like it, and did use it on my display a few years ago on my "IH" farm. I have been thinking of bringing back the "IH" farm again. Time allowed is my big factor, as I got home improvements to finish. And I have 3 current displays running. |
