Hello, I have some Steiger tractors and only 2 wheel configurations, the "original" duals and thn a few with triples.... I know that there is ALOT of different wheel designs, types, along with different types of rims.... Is anyone or everyone, willing to post a pic to help me get some more ideas about what I can use or do?....

Ertls only offered 2 different sizes and combos. God knows what the ones on the Panther IV KM325 and Cougar III PTA 270 are but i assume they were to be 24.5r32 duals. The 2nd is 30.5r32 singles and a soon to be 3rd combo on the Tiger IV, 30.5r32 duals.

So far it looks like Deeredevil is the only one that can contribute to anything.... thus far.... Thank you Deeredevil.... also, have you tried using any of those ERTL tires with any other rim thats different then those rims that they originally come on?

If you want to change the tire rim combos you can modify the Ertl rims to fit Standi tires. I like the detail on the singes rims, but the duals I usualy replace with modified Standi rims.

Ive used the 30.5r32s on a few higher HP Steigers on my custom 32" rims. Infact i prefer Ertls 30.5r32s over standis. I think its one of Ertls best tire designs. The rear tires on the JD 4440 w/duals is a very nice 20.8r38 tire to use. I havent used the tires off the IH 5088 or 1086 but they would look good on a 1000 series with duals or triples. I think those are 42" wheels but not sure. Its all in the eye of the beholder though. I have 2 other recently finished Steigers but Im waiting to write the article on them before i post them openly.

post them openly?.... so youre up for a pic email or two? ha ha!... just for ideas or what not...? no biggy if not.... how about those wheels from those New Holland T9060? Do you have an idea of what size those are?... Id like to try to use those on the rims I ordered from you Brian, IF they work.... If not, I have found some tires from Bossen that are on a "wishlist".... But yea, with more Steigers coming in, I might have to order more rims from you in the near future.... that reminds me, Do you know what side tires are on the ERTL Panthers/Ford FW-60s and such?... anyway, Thank you all for ideas!
