So as announced this weekend @ the Summer toy show, SpecCast is releasing the 6 row Kinze planters again on a new run. After seeing a closeup of a picture that Jason posted for TTT I found something odd. There was the name "Binkley & Hurst" on the product card behind the planter. Then after looking through TTT This morning It was mentioned that these planters were being run for Binkley & Hurst out of PA..or as most know them, Outback Toys. Seems to be obvious that means they will be the sole dealers of this new release, which is GREAT for them. Huge props for dishing the $$ to get these re-released. A quick trip to their website quickly puts a knife in your heart if you were hoping to get a "good deal"... www.outbacktoystore.com/Kinze-Models-and-more/1-64-KINZE-2000-6-Row-Planter-w-Liquid-Fertilizer-Attachment-by-Speccast@ that price...It makes me wonder just how well this "new" release will actually sell...

i got one for $10 a few years ago at a toy show. now thats just crazy. and for a 6 row planter too. god i could get the JD 1770NT CCS planter for cheaper then that. and thats 16 rows. i think this would be better if it was $10 to $15 for it. not $20. But that just me.

I would jump on it. But I made a John Deere 6 row. Since then that is my planter of choice. Since 12 rows are just about too darn big for my fields.

I would like to see more smaller planters hit the market, 4 and 6 row corn planters. I may pick one up for fun but I wouldn't put it on my display since there is no way we could afford one.

The last couple old ones I've seen were more then double that off the card. The old ones are going do insane prices these days.. The sad part, this release IS the old casting. $20 for a 6 row is a joke IMO. But hey, anything to help keep Spec on business..

Lets see, $20 and no hassle of shipping. For a old casting of a Kinze 6row planter. Money is in the air.

I'm in the same boat. My farm is based on the normal size farms in the area. Which is 400-1000 acres size. And most planters used in the area is either 4 or 6 rows. There is only a couple 12 rows in use, but they have a hard time due to small field sizes and terraces to deal with. They can't plant well and have rows running on top each other a lot. That is why I made my own, got tired of waiting for a planter for me to use. Ertl isn't going small anytime soon. They only focusing on big and modern.

For 20$ i think ill have to pass. If i had some money to blow id make a 12 or 16 row, but even with money to blow that would get up a little high in price.

I almost shelled out $35 for one on ebay, out of the package too; so I am also looking forward to getting one of these.

It seems that Outback won't be the only dealer carrying these as they are posted on Van Kleys site as well..
