However Tire Hubs and a little painting along with some added antennas do go a long way on the model.

The new 7140 looks good. I like how the did the FWA tires and rims. The rear hitch I don't like since its basically useless for hooking up toys. Granted they want an "Accurate" hitch. But come on why take away that? At least I can hook up something. This was what I hated about the Deere 8530 they did a few years ago.

However the toy came out too late for me. I already got my 7140 fill in my collection. They should done this a few years ago.

This looks really awesome. I am stoked about this one. I like the old Magnums. As for the hitch issue. It takes about 1 minute to make a little adapter out of styrene so it will hook up to stuff. Really a pretty minor detail with the detail they are putting in these models. They aren't intended to be hooked up and played with. The 1/64 crowd is asking for detail and they are getting it. I have a bunch of the old crude castings but I would never use them on my displays. I will be using these Magnums on both displays most likely. I would like to put a loader on one.

The more I see it, the more I like it. Just looked at it again. When I get my collection thinned out. I might consider it in the next few months. Just right now, I can't. I have no room, and things change in life. So its time for a collection clean out.

I agree on this, they rarely hit the listed release mark like they used to. And that goes for every toy company here lately.
