As noted on TTT this morning/last night...The "cat is out of the bag"...or no shock, but the CIH Authentic #4 is........
CIH 7140 Magnum I feel this is going to be a HUGE seller, I know for one that I will actually buy 2, possibly 3! Some of us have known this for months and were "sworn to secrecy". I had no problem telling anyone that asked, but I didnt feel the need to publish it everywhere as we all know how things tend to get pushed back in production...
Also on the list in regards to 1/64 items are as follows.
CIH 7110 Magnum CIH 9230 Farm Show Combine CIH 340 Magnum 25th anniv Dodge Ram W/ Gooseneck Flatbed & Round Bale load
It says Sept/Oct for Delivery...But we all know Ertl, so I dont expect to see several of these models until closer to Nov/Dec..

Nothing I really want. Plus I already have 2 CIH 7140s anyways. One with rear duals, and one with FWA and rear duals. Why I would want another? The 7110 is new, but I have its younger brother the 7210. And they both around the same HP. So nothing new there either. Looks like I get to save more money.

If the 7110 is 2wd I will probably purchase one. No use for a 4wd on my farm at least right now.

If the 7140 is cheap enough, I might get one and same for the 7110. A buddy of mine had those models

i'll be owning a 7140 just to set on my self in the box and maybe a couple 9230's to add to my harvest setup and to turn my 6088's into rental combines

This is why I'm not getting the 7140. I bought both of mine only a few years ago. Ertl could then updated them and had a better toy. But they reused the old one instead. Well I'm not getting it. Why I need a 3rd after I already bought 2 versions of it already. Other big factor is I'm out of room. So I'm about ready to thin out the collection. If I want a few other items still on my list. So the hobby is really slowed down for me. I'm only after what I really been wanting now.

I will be getting one of the 7140s most likely. I am curious to see these pickups with bale beds. That might hurt my custom making. lol

That might hurt my custom making. lol From what I saw on Vankleys, its a goose neck trailer with rounds. At least what they have listed. 1/64 Dodge Ram Pickup with gooseneck flatbed trailer with round bales

It's just going to be a dodge with a gooseneck flatbed trailer, so nothing special in that department.
As for the magnums, it's a model so many have asked about for years and to see that Ertl has "answered our prayers" is great IMO. Clearly no matter what they do isn't/never will be good enough for everyone. From what I'm told it is going to be a NEW casting.

Wow much better than I expected, good detail and they even painted the lights. I have to say I am very happy with the quality they produced on that model. Thanks for sharing!

CIH Magnums have always been one of my favorite tractors, but I have to tip my hat to Ertl, the tractor is looking very nice for in prototype stages. Deffinantly an improvment over the recent release of the 1460. I wonder if this is a hint toward what the John Deere Authentic might be...maybe a 7810....
