Back in the summer of 1987 I picked up two 5088s, one of my most favorite tractors. That year Mark and I had not yet stepped up to air seeding or big acreage(carpet but instead upgraded from a 1086 and a 1586. I managed to pick up some tires from the farm toy show in Aberdeen and dualed up both tractors with actual rubber. I dubbed both of these "The Sisters". Once the new Ertl 2011 offering came out, I knew I had to have another set. The first one with silver rims I done up about a year ago. The next was done after the 1486 got white rims and rubber tires.

Looking good!
The new casting are awesome compared to the old, but in their time the originals were top notch for the era..

Nice the 88's are one of my favorite tractors IH built. IH was spot on with the 66 series and 88 series.
