Hi Everyone, I know it's been a while, I have been busy farming. Last week New Holland had a dealer demo days out here by my house. there was a new 3 section discbine on a T7, some smaller tractor with a new double spinner rake. Then the was the big balers, one was a 3x3 rotocut tandem axle with some big tires and the other was a 3x3 with a tandem and standard tires. One had a T8 300 and the one that I drove had a T7 270 it was a CVT. I took a lot of great pictures but I have been barred from posting them up on facebook until after the Iowa farm show by New Holland. I would really like to post them here, but I am afraid someone will post them some where's else. I guess if I do post them and I find them under a name from here I could kick that person off for good. Well what do you guys think.

I say you are right in your thoughts, I would love to see them pics, but what goes on here, stays on here only! Michael

While there are pictures of it floating around Facebook already, from Europe..I don't think it's worth the risk. They asked you to not post them, I'd stick to that promise. Yeah this isn't Facebook, but this is also 2012...we all know how people can be. I say just wait till you are cleared to post them I will say, it's quite an awesome looking baler from the photos I've seen through NH! I'm sure some here in America will say its ugly &/or won't like it though..

you are probally right about holding off on posting those pictures. Those guys were real nice to me I got them 40 acres of good straw to bale so when the dealers all left I was able to bale the rest of the straw with one of those balers. I was the only non dealer person that got to run one of those balers. I ran with my caseih 333 at 1.7 miles an hour in those big windrows and 3.9 miles an hour with the new New Holland baler, it was very impressive. As for the picture on there site of the yellow one that is the baler for over seas markets. The ones here were the regular New Holland colors. They told me there were five New Holland ones and two Caseih one in the states so keep your eyes open for them.

I saw the new baler when I went past New Holland just a little bit ago. I would hold back with the photos. The last thing you need is to get a lawsuit or into serious trouble with CNH or any company for that matter. I've seen a bunch of the Deere protoypes and a few other ones.

Good to hear from your Gordy! IMO, this whole "you can't take pictures" or "you can't share them" is a joke. If your going to take a piece of equip. into public then anyone can take pictures if they want. I can see if this was a special event that you where at, and it was on NH's property then ya. But we've had lots of NH protoypes and a few of those Case heads, and took pictures and put them on FB and never had an issue.
But it's all up to you.

I would be careful on showing off pics like that. I heard stories of Deere getting really ticked on this kind of subject. And going after the people. Companies can be very interesting on showing off new stuff not ready for public release.

I think it comes down to them asking him to not post them until after "x" event. Kind of a trust/respect thing that was agreed upon. Yeah they take it out in public, but that's on them. This was an event they put on and I'm sure asked others to not share the pics as well.

Can't wait to see the pics once you do post them though!

Kind of a trust/respect thing that was agreed upon. I agree with that. It all comes down to the person. I try not to let out information on releases, but when you get people just being ignorant about, then it's just tempting. Example, last year at a truckstop in Colorado, there is a crew with a S-670 on a trailer. I was taking pictures because I hadn't seen to many before in real life, well this guy comes up and starts b!tching that I can't take pictures, on public property... I completely see what Gordy's getting at. It was most likely a small event that only certain people where invited to. I have the patience to wait. Like I said, all up to you Gordy, if you don't want them out yet, It's your board, your choice.

After careful consideration I have decided to wait. By doing this then we will most likely earn respect from them and at future events they might hold here again.

I don't blame you. I think I would wait too. That is pretty cool that you got to run a machine like that. Plus it is way too easy for someone to swipe a pic and post it.
