Last time posted we were half finished with wheat. Well We eventually got to irrigated on June 3rd. Dad left the combine for the planter and we got after it. We had 5 fenominal circles, then we hit a couple with some year old "armor" and our yields just dead fell down to mid 20's.
Fuelin up first thing.
Stopping to unload on a corner.
The pretty boys... ha
We had a good year rear steering tire that kept popping off the rim. Come to find out the ribs on the inside was wearing a hole in the tube.
Pretty bushy for 20bpa....
And we roaded..
and roaded...
and roaded a bit more...
We finished off on the 11th. Cleaned off the combines and hid them back in storage. Day later, A guy we do some custom farming for had to leave for work purposes. He cut his own wheat this year and had 200 acres left. The saint I am, I volunteered our services... Lol
Look at this fine machine!
4640 was a heck of a cart tractor. We owned the cart at one time.
Big timin it! Unloading on the go! ha

One of our hired hands has done some small square baling. Again, old trey the saint had to help.. ha
We put up 532 bales of brome one sunday.
The stash.
Ran a swather for the neighbor. Ran 11mph through the field. Pretty fun..
Drilled some beans for my uncle. This is his new tractor this year. She only had 5400 hours.
Burned a couple of circles before we went to beans.
Thank God for autosteer part. 2?
Drilled a half circle of feed to bale for filler.
After a winter of moving dirt around the future shop/storage, dad went out and bought a scraper. We found a guy that deals in old 70, 80, and 90 Cat ejection scrapers. He converts them over to hydraulics. Brought it up on a saturday and was moving dirt with it that night.
We also tried a Great Plains turbo-chisel. I really liked the rolling "pocketer" but with tillage equipment, its hard to pay for new stuff when your current equipment is paid for.
We cordinated a couple FFA guys to run through the local After Harvest parade. It was a great way to promote the chapter. The neighbor kid rode through it with me.
Well Thanks Guys!
