Very cool, although I've always been more of a drag racing fan myself. That 830 (or what ever model it is) in the second pic actually still running a 2 cyl? or is it just a 830 hood and nothing more...

Scratch out that last post. Looking at the exhaust cloud and the fact it no longer has the big flywheel on the side it's pretty obvious it's not still a 2 cyl...... duh..

Most of them are not really tractors. I call them sled dragsters. They build custom frames, make a driving area, add a axle off something or create their own. Then stick an engine and tranny to it. And finally put on a hood and fenders to create a look. Majority of them are not even a real tractor. Its trying to say Nascar or funny car dragster and a vehicle on the road is similar. Where its nothing on comparison.

That 5010 and the 830 are pretty awesome. The only thing that is the same in these tractors are the engine block. Otherwise nothing like the actual tractor the puller started with.

I haven't really been into pulls until this year. My 2 year old son loves tractors on our farm so I thought he would like pulls also so we hit the county and state fair pulls this year. Other than the hoods, there is not much stock in them.
