Carlinville Show

Saw there was a show in Carlinville, IL this weekend. Has anyone been to it, is it a good show? Was thinking about heading down there to check it out.

It was a good small show. Had about 15 sellers on tables, with 5-8 hotel rooms as well. There were about 5-6 displays and they were nice. We went on Sunday. The sellers were complaining because no one was there, but I liked it not being crowded.

I was there on Saturday. The show isn't what is used to be but I still enjoy it. Usually there are some quality toys there, and this year was no exception. I picked up a few Precision Engineering pieces as well as some of the FPS tractors. It's a great place because it's usually not as crowded as say St. Louis (of course it's no where as big either) but you get to spend more time chatting with people. One of my favorite dealers that I've become friends with over the years was selling quite a few things as we were chatting so I think atleast some of them had a good show.
