I sold my 70 Diesel. It went to Wisconsin. I have had my eye on a 64 806 that is owned by the son of the original owner. It is in good shape. Only problems appear to be a few oil leaks. It runs and drives really well.
The 70 on the trailer ready to roll out.

The guy had parked the 806 due to a fairly bad oil leak up under the front end some where. It turned out just to be a steering line leaking. About 10 minutes and some braizing I was fixed up.

It has the IH injection pump on it. I have never seen one like it but it runs really good.

Here is my new horse.


I will be moving the tires in. I am not sure why he had them set out so wide.

It also came with the original fenders too.

It also has an angling Waldon dozer that came with it.

Took the 806 out and played with it some yesterday. My buddy was running it so I took some pics.


I needed to work on the disk so I hooked it on the 806 to move it around. I am anxious to try it on that disk next spring.

When I got done with the disk i put the field cultivator on and worked the patch we are hoping to put alfalfa in next spring. Depending on if we get any moisture next winter.

Very nice there. Sweet upgrade that is for sure. I see you went back to IH again for a newer tractor. Had to get another round of it. LOL Once I get a couple bills caught up, I plan on selling my G and maybe another to get me a decent used tractor. That can pull what my G used to pull and also pulls the baler. I'm looking for something in the 60-80HP range. I will take either Ford, Deere, or IH. My G is a decent tractor, but worn out. Plus it don't have a PTO without using a reducer so that isn't good for the drive line angles to hook up too. So I only use for for pulling my disks. That is why I would like a bigger tractor. So it can still pull the disk and the baler.

Looks like a nice find, hope you enjoy it, we've got a 656 that my grandpa bought new in 196?, with the newer fenders, but the original ones are sitting in the barn bright red, while the tractor still has its work clothes on and is a nice shade of pink:-)
