Good set of pics, sharp lineup you guys are running. How's the 8410 handle that big cart? You guys must not have any hills down there. Some of our land I think the cart would be driving the tractor at times.

We run a 8100 on a 1084 Brent... So an 8410 would handle it just fine lol.
Nice pics Trey. How you like that 8r? I like the looks of them, and heard they are pretty solid tractors. I wish we had one for cart.

I saw several Case 330 VTs while driving around NE North Carolina today. Seem to be a popular choice for breaking up stalks.

Nice pics thanks for sharing them. Like seeing the real version of the new Ertl disk. So I can get a better idea what it looks like.
We do 100% no-till. So we just drill grain right into the stalks.

We have some hills even the 9330 won't pull a cart up. Just have to know how to go about climbing them and make sure you're in a low gear. The 15th picture shows our 8100 on the 1040. You really have to use the breaks to steer with a full load on.
8R is alright. Love the IVT for savings on fuel costs, but I'm still in love with the powershifts and quadranges. It makes me miss the 8650.. ha
We have tried to no-till into cornstalks for a goodtime now. Stalks are such a pain to get a good wheat germination through. We found that after a quick pass with something to knock stalks over and spread and hairpin residue, germination is brought up 5-10%. Enough to justify an extra pass on irrigated ground.

I had the opportunity to drive an 8335R this summer pullin an 850 brent and it was awesome with the only down side being that the steering is so sensivtive its not even funny, but it really does run good. What did you think about that automatic engine filtering with the 8R? We had to power shutdown more than once...

Never had an issue. It cleans while she's running as far as I know. I worked ground with it most of the summer and the only things that are annoying are all the callibrations it has to go through.

How does that 330 Vt machine compare to a regular disk in your opinion? I know they are supposed to be faster over the ground and not cut as deep, but did it break the stalks well enough and level ok with just one pass?

It leveled fantastic. No signs of ridging or furrowing. Trash flow is not near as nice as I think it should be but It's still exceptional. The crumbler really does an excellent job chopping stalks and stubble up. Gotta have it set right though, or else it will put everything into piles.
Sets like a disk, pulls like a disk, but we're doing twice as much work with the 330TT compared to a disk of same size. Trey
