Looks like ya got the 870 dialed in . In case ya haven't figured out already watch the blades on the back disk levelers, they want to work themselves loose and eventually break off and ruin the flange they're bolted too. How fast are ya able to run with it? How deep ya pulling? Landon

Yes, it does a nice, level job. It was missing a lot when it came to our place. Missing bushings on the rear disk levelers, and loose bolts

Does it give the 9200 any trouble?

How do you decide what gets ripped and what gets just run over with the disk? Is it rotational, in other words, a third of the land a year, situational based on knowledge of the soil profile, or based on the next crop? On our farm, they mainly no till and only use the DMI in line rippers on the ground that will be planted to cotton.

We rip whats going to corn the next year. If its going to beans we lightly disk it and no-till into the stalks. If its beansgoing to corn, we just hit it with the FC in the spring, no use ripping up beanstubble. Maybe if you got some free fuel.

If you did crop rotation, no need for tillage

Does it give the 9200 any trouble? Not really. Don't see or feel a lot of difference. Smokes a lot more though.
