Hey everybody, as you can see the plaster cloth that i put down has made all those unrealistc cracks and creases go away. Next is the base coat paint. I think this is where most guys make there mistake. The base coat shold be brown [ i had this paint mixed to as close as the dirt we have here] . The reason being is if you went out side and kicked the grass away it is brown like the earth. I see alot of displays painted green where the grass goes well its not green under the grass its brown. If you paint it brown first and then you apply your grass and you miss a little spot it looks more realistic. It could be classified as a dead spot in the grass. Even the gravel driveways you do should be painted brown, the same applies here as it does with the grass. Well i hope this helps out, and helps everyone make even better displays.
