So out of curiosity are you putting on 265lbs per acre? I am just wondering cause i am taking a soils fertility class up at the university right now and learning about how much fert can be put on during seeding

That is 265 lbs/ac, yes. It was going in about 2" deep. The canola that goes in next spring will only be scratched in about 1/2" deep.
Takes a lot of fertilizer to grow a decent yield of canola.
The extra hp of the 9530 was sure nice to have in the hard ground. I don't know if the 9370 would have had the traction or the power to have done the job this fall. At least at the 6.5mph we were working at... ;D
