Is this a pretty good show worth traveling to? I've been thinking of a small mid winter trip if the weather is good. I'd be coming from Moorhead or Fergus Falls.

mnjosh Not sure if the trip is worth it for you, I would say its the best SD has. I cant speak for MN either. Here are some pics from last year's 2012 show: Anyway our show has a very good selection of 1/16th and 1/64th. NO displays but lots of custom builders and parts.

We will have close to 400 tables this year with somewhere between 110 and 120 vendors. The numbers won't be set until closer to the show. Everyone should be carrying old and new farm toys, trucks, cars and collectibles to buy, sell and trade. Get there early to find the best deals. Doors open at 9 Saturday morning. Floor rights are at 7 and will allow to sift through the tables ahead of the large crowds. Is this a pretty good show worth traveling to? I've been thinking of a small mid winter trip if the weather is good. I'd be coming from Moorhead or Fergus Falls. And if you are coming from out of town and want to stay the night we have a block of rooms held under the Toy Show at the Best Western Plus Ramkota (605) 336-0650

I'll be there Saturday for sure, possibly Sunday. I really enjoy this show. Its the only one I get to, so I don't know of any better ones, but I drive a little over 5 hours to get there.
