Howdy! Between Cattle, Maintaining Equipment, Trucking, and working on winter shop projects. Days are getting shorter so there's alot of time spent when it's dark in the shop. Got combines blown off and washed up just before thanksgiving. We try to stay religious on blowing off machines between crops and especially after harvest seasons. Last year we'll use this shop for maintenance. The Morton is getting closer and closer to finished. Dad's looking hard at S670's Baled off a circle of double crop soybeans for some ruff*ge. We also had 5 circles of cornstalks square baled and contracted to local feedlots. 418 bales off of one circle, I'd say we're doing pretty good. Hauled everything to the sides with the 8410 and highloader. That a bale or a tumbleweed? ha Waiting on a load Back at the farm Getting quite a few loads of preconditioned steers and heifers in from our starter yard in Tennessee. Morning feeding time Back at the silo Got a "new" year old cattle pot this year. Didn't figure the 84' Merrit would make to many more trips back east to pick up cattle. It's a 2012 53' Eby Spread. Love it so far.. It's a joy to haul cattle in. Been Waxing and polishing a lot in the shop. Been working on the ol' Pete as a staple project and then whatever shows up. Gotta keep the bull haulin pete polished! ha Thanks! Trey

I bet you can't wait to get that new shop finished. Just from eyeballing, it looks like your current shop is twice as wide as ours. How much cattle do you raise?

Always enjoy seeing pics from Mosier Farms. That old red Pete is cool. Have you guys got any moisture? We are still extremely dry here.

Forgot this pic.. We had to shop a couple circles of corn out west this year and last year so we've been hauling back silage as we need. It usually stays good for about 3 days so we haul 10-20 loads a week. 80 mile round trip. Sam, Here's a pic of our 97' extended hood/ 475hp Cat and our 05' Daycab shortnose/ 450hp C-15 Cat. Here's the "Ol Pete" lol It's a 1962 342 Peterbilt with a butterfly hood/ 400hp cummins. Been on the farm since 83' and we've restored it twice. Most of the truck is made out of a scrapped out 359 though. Exhd again. This was dark green up until last winter. One of our favorite trucks and it needed a paint job. We had an 20 hundredths about a month ago. Inch-2 inches out west. Our wheat is screwed to heck if it gets below 10 degrees for more then a day. We don't have any sort of crown root forming yet. Trey Here's the shorthood. Not the most liked truck on the farm, it has the smallest engine.. lol Chris, Pay for my plane ticket and I would show up! Steiger, We rotate through about 3500-4000 head of cattle a year. 300-500 during the summer and the rest in the winter. Trey

Chris, Pay for my plane ticket and I would show up! Trey Plane ticket!! Come on, Kansas isn't that far from So. Sask. ;D... Bet the diesel here and back would be cheaper by far, definitely better scenery. But then again that plane ticket's gonna be a steal compared to the pair I just bought for a plane ride "down under" next month.....
