Really nice toy nonetheless. There should be some people out there that want it. I still have not seen the point in the whole concept though. I have seen a few 4WD's doing row-crop work but that was in Deere brochures, otherwise nothing. I'm the same way on this. In the 70s and 80s they was using them since they ranged in the 180-300HP range. So you had a use for it pulling the largest planters at 24 rows they offered. And you had cultivators, large pull type silage cutters, and few other implements. Those days you had a greater chance needing a 4WD with row crop abilities. Today with 2WDs hitting the 300HP+ mark. You took out the use for a 4WD with row crop. I just don't see a market/use for one. Other than pull a tillage, grain cart, or large air drill. work at a case dealer buddy you are sadly mistaken almost any 24 row planter sold will go out the shop with a new 4wd, 4wd row crops are becoming more popular not less popular

Its a waste from what I see. 4WD on row crops is really outdated, when 2WD can do it. If you want it that bad, just hook up any 4WD and use it. Why bother for a "special" tractor just to plant. Then again in my area tillage has become outdated well.

You know Samuel it's not always just about whats your area. Your area is just a small percentage of the farming in the world. Just because you dont use it in your area doesn't mean it's not used other places. If you don't want it then don't buy it.

And for toys we collect what we like. What I'm trying to figure out. When you already have a tractor to work with that implement. Why bother trying to make something else. The Quad Trac been out like 20 years? And it took them this long to make one with row crop. When then you used what you have. It worked and still work. It worked in the past, why would it be different now.

Case probably left this until there Patent ran out on the Quadtrac, so that when other companies release theres, they are still trying to "One up" the others. I'd think they have some kind of patent on this, so other companies have to wait for it to run out.
But let's drop it and go back to the reason that Adam posted it, to talk about the toy, not your vision of the perfect tractor.

Row crop tracks always were an aftermarket option offerd by case. they werent technically case but the dealers orderd them and installed them at there shop. There are quite a few of the old style quads with row crop tracks around here. well north of here a few miles, up in corn country pullin big planters. I like it, gonna have to get a couple.
