First you want to drill out the rivets and take the laser off once you do that you want to find a way to attach it then paint if needed ask 70ds he has done that a lot and to post pictures you need a photobucket account

The front axle should come off and then pry the loader off and cut the rivet that goes through the tractor. Then take the front axle off the 1486, put it in position, glue the bottom bracket and you can drill a hole through where the rivet would go and then use a piece of rod that fits and put it through. Hope this helps.

Well actually it depends on how you do it. You could dismantle the loader while on the tractor. If you want to keep the loader intact the whole time, you take the axle off so you can take it the loader off without all the extra work.

I once took a loader off a John Deere and put it on a New Holland TG 285. Like others have mentioned, you will have to drill out the rivet on top. On the bottom you will have to cut the bottom support off if you want to take it off without removing the front axle. I then used a singe strand of wire from 12 1/2 gauge barbed wire and ground down the middle of the wire to fit the frame. Then I drilled a hole on the bottom to place the wire through. I was able to reuse the rivet on the top. To do the cutting and drilling I recommend a Dremel tool. To post pictures, I use Photobucket. You upload your pics from you computer to Photobucket, then get the image code and copy, paste image code into message, and the picture should appear.
