Saw some planting action today

Went down to the store to get some milk this afternoon and saw the only guy around here that does wheat planting today. I forgot my phone and didnt have a camera with me so I ran home ( only 3 miles) and went back down. There was a 335 sitting in the feild as well but it was headed down the road by the time I was back. Im not sure what model number the planter tractor was. There was a mulch ripper right behind the tractor then two older JD drills that were offset behind that. The feild that they were planting was off the road quite aways and it was hard to get a good picture. I'm going to try and either get back down there tonight or in the morning to see if I can catch them either parked or closer to the road. Here are the pics I did manage to get.

Pretty neat looking rig there. Is that type of till and plant set up common?

That is the ONLY set up around.

Here are some more pics. The 325 was back today. First 4wd I have ever seen in this area. These are the only modern Case tractors I have seen as the dealer is a little more then 2 1/2 hours south of here. I'm not sure where these guys are from as this is just a small feild that they do ( 85 acres or so ). Here are the pics I got today. Not to sure on the model #'s of the tractors or anything but anything else feel free to ask. Jared










Heres a coupe pics from the big local dairy. They milk about 750 head. The next biggest dairy is around 350 milking head. I'll try and get more pics next time I head that way.

That is a pretty cool setup. So they are planting wheat in the first set of pictures with offset John Deere drills, then what are they planting with the 6 row Monsem planter? Do they truck their equipment to all their fields?

I have no idea on what they are using the Monsem for. They didn't do any row crops here last year so its hard to tell. The loader and the 2wd tractor were both trucked to this feild and the two larger tractors were drove here. They must haul them at some point because at the gas station this morning I heard they are from somewhere down in Oregon, from here to farm country in Oregon is about 2 hours. I'm not sure if that is true or not, but I dont know where they would be from around here.
