My wife was out that way 2 weeks ago and said it was very green but d**n. Our hay isn't even green yet (last year it was 6" tall) and its being cut there. Very jealous

Are you ever scared Mt. St. Helens might blow again? Great pics btw, someone needs to give that 7520(?) a good home.

It is really green for this time of year. Not too worried about the Mt. blowing again, it will happen, just a matter of when. Last time it blew my dad told me all we got was about 3 inches of ash (made the soil around here really nice) and a heck of a heat wave. My grandpas farm has a perfect view of the Mt. and he and my dad were building fence when it blew. He said you couls see the heat/shock wave knocking over trees in the distance and still just about blew him over when it reached him in the feild. I would love to give that old deere a home. Up untill about four years ago they used it to pull plow. I think they only have two other tractors, a 4440 and another soundguard with a loader. Jared

Very nice views. We usually don't start mowing until around May-June. However the dairy farms are cutting grain for silage.

Beautiful country. Never been to the Northwest, but the scenery in your pics is awesome.

Super small town of about 400 called Onalaska. It is about an hour south of Olympia. It is a beautiful area down here and we have a view of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainer and Mt. Adams. Ya, its western Washington and it is wet! I can count the number of days without rain this year on two hands, it is finally starting to look up though. First cut of regular hay should be end of may/early june this year. Jared
