Today at the North Dakota farm toy show in LaMoure, ND, I was talking with the representative from Spec Cast. After complementing them on their AGCO products and dropping a suggestion for a combine, he mentioned that next spring they will be working on something 1/64 from Gleaner!! Also saw a 24 row Case IH planter, looked real nice; release set for late summer.

Hopefully they will make quick work of this project, Spec-cast has kinda let me down a few times in the past and made up for it, I'm hoping for a R5* or an R6*. There is no doubt that a Gleaner combine would sell.

There will also be a Gleaner L2, and L2 Corn plus available as well. Head options will be a 8 row corn and a 22' grain head. Won't be from a major manufacturing company.

I like this news, see what happens. More likely I will get it, since I like Gleaners. As much I would like to see an vintage one. I would love a Super 7. Since it will be more modern and easier to display. I would have it display now, if I had one.

Out of curiosity, who is building the L2 Gleaner in 1/64th??? I would love one myself but was not shelling out $450+ for one of Scratch Casts, awesome but pricey L2's. Jason

Yep its a killer looking Gleaner. I'm waiting to see the version with both headers. Since the first one will have just the corn header. Unless you use the Ertl Gleaner headers from the A86.

Granted the Dealer version will come out at the start of the year. However the actual S88 won't ship til about summer. Cause I saw a farmer on another forum fussing about that. That his grain harvest will be mostly over by time it can ship out. So most farmers won't get theirs at least til late 2014 to early 2015. Depending on several factors.

Can anyone confirm this or are we wishing? There will also be a Gleaner L2, and L2 Corn plus available as well. Head options will be a 8 row corn and a 22' grain head. Won't be from a major manufacturing company.

Also will they all say dealer launch on them looking for one that wont The First two versions of the new S88 Gleaner, will have the dealer launch on the back of the combine apparently. The "shelf" version that is supposed to follow will not have the inscription on the combine, but has both heads. As a collector of Gleaner combines, I like having the inscription on the combine myself. I just got the 90th Anniversary Gleaner Peter built Semi the other day. Its a nice truck. Jason

Love the Gleaners. I just scored a S77 1/24th scale 90th anniversary combine. Nice stickers on it.

Love the Gleaners. I just scored a S77 1/24th scale 90th anniversary combine. Nice stickers on it. The 1/24th Gleaner S77 90th anniversary combine was well done in my books. Local Dealer got 5 of them in, and were all sold out in one day. I was lucky to get one myself for the collection. Now just waiting for the "Dealer Launch Edition" 1/24th Gleaner S88 to show up at the dealer. Jason
