Could some one tell me step by step on how to take tires off big four wheel drive tractors and replacing them with tracks? Also a list of tools needed? Thanks

For wheels, I use a set of snap ring pliers that move outwards. When you press the handles. If you don't want to damage the body, place a rag against the body or paper towels folded up some. Unless the wheels have a rivet on the outside. Which most newer tractors don't have that anymore. Then you will have to drill.
As for removing quad tracks from a CIH. Never done it, so that is all new.
For axles I have used the metal clothes hanger and drop some glue on the end. Either inside the hub, or on the axle end if it goes through.

for removing the tracks from a tractor you must split the frame of the quad track by taking out the screws. the screw on the front of the trsctor is hidden underneath a sticker. once you have it split, there is a black plastic ring holding the roller axle onto the casting and i just use a pair of side cutters to snap the ring off. hope that helps!

Case quad tracks are easy to take apart now that Ertl uses screws to hold everything together instead of rivets. Just get a small set of screw drivers and the whole tractor will be in peices in minutes. As far as putting the tracks onto another 4wd that will take some trial and error to get things fitting right and looking good
