Early Farms as of this week ran a IH 1440 2wd, and a IH 1460 RWA, however when we went to move the 1440 in the shop for general maintenance the motor let go, and when I say let go I mean let go it looks like someone though a hand grenade into a box of legos. so we had Jory Blaggden owner of Town & Country Towing bring out one of his big trucks, and put it in the shop. JW got on the phone to James Lindsey to see if he could find a block, but we are looking for a new machine thinking a 2388 or 2588, but we also may sit down with our banker, and look as a 6088, if any one knows of a good one keep us in mind This week we also got a call from the CO-OP feedlot, and they had a pen open up, but we didn't have enough steers to fill it ourselves so we split it with Lockwood Angus, here are some shots of dropping the cattle off here we are watching them all settle into their new home, I know it kill's Shawn to have his Blacks running with our Red and Whites but I just keep reminding him maybe the better temperament will rub off

Nice journal, sorry to see the combine died. But it does happen, plus with an older machine. Many in my area are moving away from the combines in the 70s and 80s. So they are getting harder to find even in my parts.
I'm sure the cows will enjoy their short living conditions.

At least the combine didn't blow up during harvest. I really like that feed truck. It is a nice one.
