I was looking on Vankleys and saw some new Agcos coming out in 64th. I'm guessing this is coming from Spec since they did the Agcos a while back. The Massey 8700 series hadn't been released yet in America. So you have to look on the Euro site to see them. From what I see its the replacement for the 8600 series that been out for several years.

The site only shows the real tractor. So stay tuned as more info comes out.
The new tracks got my attention. Hope this will be better than the Scale Models ones. This one also has 590HP the biggest they offer. So this one will be a good one for any collector and display.

Yea I got the email last week from agco parts they listed the challengers as a MT875E and MT685E the biggest tracked and wheeled machines we offer both are t4 final equipped and the 875 features a agco built v 12 instead of the usual cat c18 and the Massey would be interesting I can't wait to get my hands on these in real life either

I am thinking the new MF 8700 series will be previewed at the Louisville Farm Show in a few weeks, then we will know more about the real tractors and what was changed on them. I do hope we see a White planter from Spec- Cast in the next couple of years. Figured AGCO would sooner or later drop the Cat engines in the tracked machines in favor of the SISU Diesel.

Looking on their site. They are still phasing out on the Cat engines. So some of them might still have them. I think by this time next year most of their stuff will be all Sisu engines. I usually don't keep up with the Challenger part of Agco that well. Since they are mostly Masseys painted yellow. Only the track and 4WD I kinda keep up. Since they are mostly Challenger only.

The SISU Diesel is actually pretty good on fuel from what I have heard. A lot quieter running engine then the cats. I figured they would be starting to phase out the CAT engine eventually.

After seeing the new Massey 8700 series on Massey's site. I will say I won't be adding one of those. They are basically the same tractor with a few minor improvements. Even the HP range is the same.

I would wait and see on this Sam, apparently the New 1/64th MF 8700 coming out will have a lot more detail, suppose to have cab glass, light bars that extends out to the edge of the duals plus some other details. I would not write it off just yet. Besides, it could be a nice tractor upgrade for one of your displays in the future, such as the one with MF 9895 combine and the R70. Just a thought.

Well I don't have a 290HP Massey since I only have the 8670 and 8680. Plus the Pembroke is looking for a newer cart tractor, and one to pull a newer and perhaps larger planter. Your right, I will consider it.
