So I wanted to build a combine trailer and a sprayer trailer. They are going to be 1/64 but not the DCP size. My trucks are all smaller. I have been looking at pictures but I'm having difficulties figuring it out. Can anyone lend some advice. My semis are Matchbox size so that's the size the trailers need to be. Thanks for the help. I don't really want top spend $100.00 buying them unless I have to.

I've built tons of trailers. First find a model you like. Get the basic dimensions and multiply the feet by 12" then divide by 64 and you you have 1/64 scale. I prefer brass and shot an assembly video 2 years ago showing how I do it. Buy your brass at a hardware store or go to my preferred site to get your brass hobbylink.com You could be a several trailers for less than $100 plus a soldering iron, flux and solder. Sprayer trailers are a bit more difficult depending on the style of trailer you want to build. I made a 38' Neville sprayer trailer with two drops which was a bit tricky but certainly not impossible. Good luck. Eric

Where is a good place to get the axles and tandem wheels and tires? The collect and play line of semis and trailers are about the same size as match box,You could probably use the wheels and tires and find some same diameter rod for new axles.[or maybe use those axles] Hobby stores usually have brass rod selections or even plastic rod would work unless you do too much carpet farming lol.

Cool thank you I'll look for those. Yeah most of the cars on the sections are matchbox cars. So that is the size I'd need.
