We started planting this morning one handed! Our right hand planter is still at John Deere so we're trying to get as many acres as we can planted today as possible. We're running full blown as I type. Started on our best dirt and have around 180 acres in right now. We totally went through and re-did this setup over the winter. She's running pretty smooth. It might be the orthman's last year though. Filling up with diesel , fertilizer, and seed The coop is running right ahead of us spreading lime. They sure can get alot spread in a hurry. I hate to admit it, but we're planting this circle to Dekalb. They literally paid for a good bit of the seed so that we would try it. We also got a circle's worth of Producer Hybrids, and Mycogen. Every thing else is the usual Pioneer. Me and dad came up with a stalk stomper for the planter tires. Workin good so far for a simple inovation! Gotta check wheat circles every morning. This circle is loooking really good right now. Alot of you guys wonder about irrigation on here. Here's a look at the pivot. The pump is on the right. When we chemigate and fertilize corn, we pump our supplements into the water stream from the tank. Thanks Guys! More to come very soon! Trey

Nice pics. I like that Orthman setup. I would guess the guys around here will get rolling in another week or so. It is pretty dry here. I don't know if we will see as much corn this year or if there will be more milo.

Glad to see your rolling down there. We are going to start strip tilling on monday and hopefully will be planting next week. That is a nice 1trpr and planter you have there, that is about the best setup on the market for this area.

Are you putting anything on with the strip tiller? It's a really cool setup. No one down here runs a 1trpr just a couple guys running a strip tiller.

Fertilizer is going in on the 1tpr. It's one of the most economical ways of doing it for our operation on the market.
Our dryland wheat is toast.... If we get a rain this weekend we might make 15-20 bpa off it. Might just plant soybeans into all of it if we don't.
Thanks Guys Trey

Quinton its probably a quarter sectioner. Looks like fun Trey we haven't got any tractors out in the field seeding anything yet way to wet still. And i like that stalk buster idea good way to save tires. Hope all goes good for the rest of the season.

Or a 1/4 mile long. There's a couple 1/2 mile ones around, them are scarce though. Trey
